How energy efficient is air conditioning?Most Air Conditioning units are A+ or A++ efficiency rated. Since April 2022 they are now classed as renewable energy so there is no VAT to pay on domestic installations. As they use electricity, it is also a greener option to cool and heat your home.

Where can I have air conditioning installed (in a house)?The indoor air conditioning can be wall, floor or ceiling mounted and there is plenty of options from designer to concealed ducted units. As there is an outside unit associated with the internal air conditioner, these are best installed on, or adjacent to an external wall on brackets or rubber feet.

Do I need to get Air Conditioning units cleaned regularly or serviced?Yes, the filters in Air Conditioning units can be easily removed and cleaned regularly to keep the unit running efficiently and a 12 monthly service is required for warranty purposes. We offer servicing to existing air conditioning installations, so please contact us for more information.
